Misdiagnosed: What Nobody Tells You about Mental Health Diagnosis

Mental health conditions are often misdiagnosed. You might only have a 50% chance of getting a correct diagnosis. A misdiagnosis can happen for various reasons. For example, the diagnostic interview might have resulted in inaccurate data or "symptom overlap" caused confusion. No matter the reason, the result is that you don't get the support you need. If you worry about having gotten a wrong diagnosis, it might be a good idea to get a second opinion. On my channel, 1500 individuals voted on whether they are worried about being misdiagnosed, and 69% answered yes. I hope this video helps you understand why these feelings are justified.
