Your Dyslexia Coach

Hi, I’m Arije.

I’ve specialized in dyslexia since 2015, helping adults break free from patterns often rooted in early experiences, such as perfectionism, low self-esteem, shame, and people-pleasing.

With a background in education sciences and extensive training in counseling, coaching, and neurodiversity, I’ve developed a comprehensive approach to supporting dyslexic individuals. I’ve taught university-level seminars, developed courses for university students on dyslexia, and conducted a qualitative research project exploring the coping mechanisms of dyslexic adults.

Guided by mentorship from experienced psychologists and coaches, I offer personalized one-on-one sessions in English, Dutch, and German. These sessions help clients better understand their dyslexia, build self-awareness, and navigate its lasting impact to live more fulfilling lives.

My Approach

Helping Clients Break Free from Patterns

I support you in identifying recurring life traps, such as people-pleasing and self-sabotage, that may stand in the way of your growth. By recognizing these patterns, you’ll develop the awareness and skills to make different, more constructive choices. This process empowers you to take greater control of your life and opens new possibilities for thriving.

A Solution-Focused Approach to Dyslexia

Dyslexia comes with real challenges—but you also have unique strengths that go beyond it. I help clients identify what works, recognize their individual qualities, and build on those successes. By shifting focus to strengths and possibilities, growth becomes attainable—because we don’t experience life; we experience the life we focus on.

Behavior-Focused Coaching with Practical Tools

Lasting change comes through action. I help clients design and carry out behavioral experiments to break unhelpful patterns and establish new, constructive habits. By testing and refining these behaviors in real-life situations, clients gain insights and build meaningful change from the ground up.
